Tony Award winning actress, singer, and dancer Sutton Foster, known for her work on Broadway and the hit TV show, "Younger", asked Studio 165+ to concept and design her third studio album, "Take Me to the World". As a lead designer of the project, my role was to help the design team art direct the photo shoot for the album as well as illustrate and format the layout of the packaging.
The album is a testament to the current transition she faces in her life of balancing work, fame, and becoming a new mother. The playful illustration around Sutton represents this stage in her life, including flowers nodding towards femininity, swirls symbolizing transitions, and imagery of stars and moons, relating to some of the themes and lyrics throughout the album.
